DeAngelo After receiving his bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Arkansas in 1980, he spent eleven years working as an architect and real estate developer in New York City. Mr. DeAngelo’s graduate work at New York University in 1985 focused on Real Estate and Investment Analysis. During the 1980’s in New York City, Mr. DeAngelo was directly involved in over 150 design, real estate and construction management projects with a cumulative construction value of over $450 million. Projects ranged from 50 story buildings in Midtown Manhattan to low-rise commercial buildings, retail and residential projects. Clients included several Fortune 500 companies, major airlines such as American Airlines, United Airlines and TWA, urban development projects with the City of New York and Port Authority of NY/NJ, and projects with private developers and small businesses. Mr. DeAngelo also attended the Juris Doctor Program at Concord University School of Law based in Los Angeles, CA. He is well versed in real estate matters, including real estate development, operations, property management, contracts, and has a strong real estate finance background. Tony also has a special expertise in construction related contract management, project management, and business development. Currently, Mr. DeAngelo is planning mixed use commercial, retail, restaurant and residential development projects in the Des Moines area. He is also the CEO of DeAngelo Partners, LLC, an architectural design firm providing urban planning and project design support to SOHO Development.

Tony
DeAngelo is the Chief Executive Officer of SOHO Development, LLC,
a commercial real estate development company based in Des Moines,
IA. He brings to SOHO Development the unique perspective of an architect,
real estate developer, construction manager, and
has over 30 years of real estate related experience. He is a Registered
Architect in Iowa, New York, Massachusetts, Illinois, and a member of the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards in
Washington, DC.
